Here's our first educational project which we've created with help from Wiltshire Dacre Primary School.
It's designed for kids age 8-11 and can be delivered with very little preparation in an hour (or more if you have time).
With illustrations from Dan the Scribbler we've created a colourful, fun and interesting way of teaching kids:
Why dropping litter is bad for our environment, wildlife and communities
Why it's important to think carefully about balloon releases
How we can use fewer 'single use' plastic items to help look after our environment
What we shouldn't flush down the loo and why!
We'll definitely visit more schools to deliver the session ourselves but would love groups to take a DIY approach too so have created some 'leader notes' to help. It really is simple, fun and effective.
Thanks to Hitchin Committee and Hitchin Round Table for funding support on this.
